Notes on Camp David:

Introduction by Vito Acconci:

The pickpocket and the sleight-of-hand man. The sleight-of-hand man’s dexterity: it produces something, for the subject to witness. The pickpocket’s dexterity: it eliminates something from the subject. The two can work together: the pickpocket, behind the victim, can steal his wallet – the sleight-of-hand man, in front can conjure up a duplicate, make a balance.

Opinion:

I don’t want to argue that this particular research is uninteresting. But at least in this piece it is not clear at all what the substance or the result of these experiments actually should be.

So one gets the “impression“ to be stuck in another one’s body, so that you see it as your own and feel discomfort if a weapon is coming close. Unbelievably fascinating discovery, I would never have expected. Although there are definitely excitements in this area. Obviously, the brain often makes decisions seconds BEFORE its “owner“ realizes them, i.e. one can visualize decisions, although I don’t know anything about it yet. Only for example.
